Packing tips
You will do most of your own packing, unless you have chosen the Déménagement 2000 “Comfort” service.
Good packing is the key to a successful move.
Useful tips:

Have plenty of boxes and other packing material so that you don’t run out in the
evening when you’re packing.

Get new boxes if possible - new ones are sturdy and are less likely to fall apart.

Get heavy duty packaging tape for sealing cartons.
|
| |
Pack one room at a time.
|
| |
Protect delicate items in bubble wrap.
|
| |
Wrap delicate items individually and place them in boxes lined with blankets or towels.
|
| |
· Don’t leave too many empty spaces in the boxes - use newspapers or
magazines to assure a snug fit wherever there's a gap.

Pack light items in large boxes.
|
| |
Pack heavier items such as books in small boxes that are easy to carry.
|
| |
To avoid spills on opening boxes, write "RIGHT SIDE UP" on the various cartons.
