Five last minute tips
To ensure that your move is as smooth as possible, remember to:

Disconnect your appliances from electric, water and gas supplies.

Avoid polishing your furniture before the move so that they are not marked by the protections
that will cover them during transport.

Empty the refrigerator and freezer at least 24 hours before the moving day.

Take down wall hangings, curtain rods, paintings, etc.

If you do your own packing, make sure the goods are well packed. Packing is the key to a
successful move. Pack one room at a time to simplify the unpacking in your new home. |
